How to Take Care of Your Skin During Long Flights

July 6, 2018

Tedious flight journey does not cause only jet lag but pulls the beam out of your skin atrociously.  The glow of your face is important to avoid tissue damage that causes wrinkles and fine lines. Why not take care of your skin during a lengthy flight trip if you can easily manage to do so? Here are the skincare tips that you should follow to maintain dewy appearance.

Don’t Wear Makeup

The first thing that you should do before boarding a flight is to remove makeup. Use a cleanser to remove all traces of makeup. Many women use wet cotton pads to rip off makeup, but they are not as effective as cleanser oil.

Moisturise Your Skin

Once you have wiped your makeup, spritz a few drops of mist made with rosewater and aloe vera. This will prevent your skin from dryness and free radical damage.

A Sleeping Mask

Overnight face masks have been made to take the edge off your skin dryness. An overnight hydrating face mask will keep your skin supple and lustrous. This will help you revive your lost glow.

Use Eye Band to Relax Your Eyes

To whittle down the impact of jet lag, you should sleep in your flight so that you won’t look exhausted when you get off your flight. Eye bands are effective to relax your eyes and go to sound sleep. You should also use travel pillows to provide the maximum comfort to your neck.

Drink Water

Your skin hydration also depends on your drinking amount. If you restrict drinking water, your skin will become dry. To avoid dehydration, skip coffee and alcohol and drink water instead as much as you can. However, there is no particular quantity of water that you should consume.
